OK, this is NOT an overreaction: Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore really seems to be in over his head.
I'm not just talking about Saturday's 20-15 loss to undefeated Indiana where his game management, timeout management, unimaginative play-calling twice within the 10-yard-line, punting in short-yardage situations would have given him a chance to extend a drive and salvage the season.
I'm talking about his performance in most games this season.
No matter what any dyed-in-blue Michigan fan/booster/backer has to say in his defense, no matter how many starters were lost to the NFL, I'm watching a 5-5 team that could be 8-2 and SHOULD be 7-3 at worst.
This season, I've watched game after game of no adjustments, indecision, one-play Alex Orji and a plethora of head-scratching moves that have left me asking, "Does Sherrone Moore WANT to win?"
After Saturday's puzzler against an Indiana team that had lost 28 of the past 29 games to Michigan, I'm left wondering this:
Does Sherrone Moore know HOW to win?
While there's no doubt that Moore seems to be a good guy who bleeds Michigan blue, those with the power over the future of Michigan Wolverines football must be thinking the same thing I'm thinking:
Can Michigan win with Sherrone Moore at the controls?
