Early in-person voting begins this Saturday in Detroit, with some other jurisdictions beginning in the state as late as Oct. 26.

State law requires Michigan communities offer at least nine days of early in-person voting. But some like Detroit are offering early in-person voting for 15 days, from Saturday, Oct. 19 to Sunday, Nov. 3.

The city of Sterling Heights, for instance, will offer early in-person voting for nine days, from Oct. 26 to Nov. 3.
